Our academy runs on a Sunday morning at the Club and is open to all children between the ages of 4 & 6 years old, School Years Reception & Year 1. 

Please note we are unable to take children any younger than 4 years old.

 

It is run by enthusiastic Coaches who all coach with a drive and passion for helping children succeed. Our training plans are prepared in line with FA junior team coaching principles but built around fun and games.

 

We do not play competitive games against other teams until the end of the Under 6 season, but towards the Spring we will arrange mini tournaments & friendlies. This is to ensure the children get the chance to develop their technique and enjoy the game at their own pace, without any pressure.

All our coaches are volunteers and we are always looking for people to to step up to take our academy teams forwards once they graduate into competitive football. If you fancy giving it a go the club will cover the costs of all training, DBS checks and equipment associated with being a Coach.
